Poussière grew out of a personal collection.

Some pieces come from my own wardrobe, others are found over time through sourcing.

The collection is divided between Virtue and Vanity.

Virtue draws from virtus: excellence and self-command. 
Vanity draws from vanitas: self-adornment and display. Most of the things I love tend to fall somewhere between the two.

Films, photographs, costumes, and old magazines have always been part of the process.

I source the pieces, photograph them, and handle each order personally.
